| LONGVIEW - Longview is still in the running for the district championship.
According to information received here today by the school authorities from Kay B. Henderson, director of the UIL. Mr. Henderson awarded the game played last Friday, in which Gilmer was declared a victory on the playing field by a 14 to 7 score, to Longview and said the game would be officially recorded as a 2 to 0 in favor of Longview, which officially gives the locals an unscored-on record for the season. |
